My First Quarantine Breakdown

I finally did it.
I finally had a break down.

Which resulted in me pulling together all of the kids' books (and we have a lot) to organize them by genre, author, reading level, educational content, and language. I really wish we had more Spanish books. *any family members reading this looking for gift ideas for the kids?*

It took up our hallway. And when I say "all of the kids' books" I don't actually mean all of them. I didn't go through the board books. Those are still safely shelved in Teddy Bear's room.

Not pictured: books on the other side of the hallway

I am one of those people that firmly believes that you can never have too many quality kids' books. Unless you have three copies of Green Eggs and Ham. Then it's time to downsize. (That book is my personal Hydra.) Some of our books are duplicates because we have one in English and one in Spanish. One book, The Rainbow Fish, we have in English, Spanish, and then a third copy in BOTH English and Spanish. You know, for those moments that we can't seem to make up our mind.

I then went through the kids' toys and craft bins and threw several things out.

I hate clutter and the longer I am in my house the more clutter I see.

Tomorrow I am reorganizing the office desk even though J is the one that uses it and not me.

and ... I NEED TO DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN WASH DISHES AND READ ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS.

My brain is slowly atrophying.
